Earning it’s name form a legendary stretch of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, the “Mulsanne Straight” was one of the fastest pieces of road in motorsports. Originally a 3.7 mile unobstructed stretch it allowed competing drivers to reach dangerously high speeds normally not possible on a racetrack. Bentley chose the name in respect to its motorsports heritage and commemorating their 5 victories at Le Mans. While no race car, the Mulsanne can reach speeds that would make Mario Andretti break a sweat, thanks to the 6.8L Twin Turbo V8 under the hood. And it being a Bentley, it’s a masterpiece of luxury and comfort as well.
