The AMG GT R is the faster variant of the already quick AMG GT S. It retains much of the core underpinnings including the 93% aluminum structure even the 4.0 liter twin turbo motor remains, albeit with an improved tune increasing performance to 577 horsepower. In essence GT R is a sharpened and more track focused version of an already amazing grand tourer. Some of the impressive performance driving technology includes a 9 mode variable traction control system, tunable by the yellow knob on the center console. Perfect for when you want to dial in just the right amount of power sliding theatrics on the morning commute.
