With 600 hp and lots of small touches that take BMW’s flagship sedan to another level it’s hard not to fall in love with the B7. Alpina is a relatively small independent German car manufacturer that has had a longstanding relationship with BMW, taking their most beloved vehicles and dialing up the performance and luxury to another level. In the case of the B7 it starts as a “regular” top of the line 7 series that gets sent to Alpina for hand assembly of the BMW engine along with the implementation of a handful of upgrades including larger turbos and specific tunes to get the most power out of the automobile. Following engine assembly, the car is then sent back to BMW to have the rest of the vehicle assembled. When the car is finally put together, sans interior details it once again goes back to Alpina to have the luxury touches added including Alcantara headliners and leather wrapped doors and interior panels.
